Premise (“we”, “our”, or “us”) operates the Premise web application at mypremise.io and the Premise iOS application (together, the “Service”). This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. The same account and data are shared across web and iOS.

Information we collect

  • Account information. To use the Service you create an account. Authentication is handled by our provider, Clerk, which stores your email address and sign-in credentials. We use this to identify you and keep your work available across your devices.
  • Content you create. The ideas, messages, and other input you provide, and the documents Premise generates for you, are saved to your account so you can return to them on any device.

How we use your information

We use your information to operate the Service: to authenticate you, to generate and store your projects and documents, and to sync them across your devices. We do not sell your information, and we do not use advertising or third-party tracking SDKs.

Where your data is stored and processed

Your account and content are stored in a database hosted on our infrastructure providers, Vercel and Neon. When you send a message, its content is transmitted to Anthropic’s API to generate a response; Anthropic processes it to provide that response. We rely on these providers as subprocessors and share only what is necessary to operate the Service.

Data retention and deletion

Your projects and documents are retained until you delete them or delete your account. You can delete individual projects at any time from within the Service. To delete your account and all associated data, contact us at the address below and we will remove it.

Children’s privacy

The Service is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted at this URL with an updated date above.
